Intro:

Hello Everyone! Welcome to The Game of Life Podcast; I am Alexandria Burek and I am your host.

Thank you for continuing to choose my show out of all of the shows to choose from. This show is brought to you with so much love and is meant to be a source of inspiration and light; my goal is to create a space where we can be honest with ourselves and bring good into the world.

As we deep dive into the metaphysical universe, you can expect to learn how the law of divine oneness sits at the intersection of buddhists, physicists, and hindus philosophies, concepts and guiding principles.

Before we get into the thick of it, I have a quick personal update for you guys.

Personal Update:

You guys. I am happy to report. I have run a few times since the last episode AND WE ARE BACK BABY! The first one was a little scary. Had a little snafu with the treadmill on top of it, or off of it, BUT we survived. We got back on that horse and we are in it. The most recent run was PHENOMINAL–I officially ran my longest stent yet, 5M–and it was LIFECHANGING. I am so excited about this new version of myself and this new chapter of my life.

Next up–quick little update on the start of 2025, and the goals, and the things. I am pleased to report I marked off one item on my food bingo card–yes you guys I made a food bingo card to gameify the recipes I want to try–AND I made chicken nuggets which are my new FAVORITE. So good. So easy. So fun. So gooood. My Networth is within $19k of my goal, which I am hoping to make quick work of, I am making solid progress on the STR project (need to hit that hard again in the next week), could not have performed better during the interview I had this week and some more that is slipping my mind. But there will be future updates. So. Stay Tuned.

With no further ado, The Law of Divine Oneness.

The Law of Divine Oneness

Quick recap of the kickoff episode on the Law of Divine Oneness from last week:

The law of divine oneness exists to explain that everything is interconnected. The key principles can be summed up to say: our thoughts and actions have a direct impact on the collective (interconnection), we all come from ONE source (universal source), the division in the world is preventing us from accessing more love and positive energy (unity consciousness), and our thoughts and actions create a ripple effect (the ripple effect).

Today we will look more in depth at the roots of this law along with four key lessons people can learn from the law of divine oneness. Next episode we will talk about the challenges we face when applying this law and examine different ways we apply the law to our daily life. We will close it out with a quick summary of everything we learned here along with some reflections before we move on to the law of vibration.

So, when we think of the law of divine oneness, we are going to look at different perspectives that in their own way support the concepts and spirit of the law of divine oneness. We are going to look at this from three different views, while different, they each have over arching themes that can be traced back to the law of divine oneness: Buddhism, Hinduism, and Quantum Physics. For the record, I am probably more familiar with the buddhist and quantum physics than I am the hindu side of things, that said one of the points of this show is to learn with you, so that is what we will do.

We will start with the buddhist perspective and go from there. There are three buddhist principles that we can look at pointing to, and supporting, the law of divine oneness: Interdependent origination, emptiness, and universal compassion. The buddhist teaching of interdependent origination suggests that all phenomena arise in dependence upon other phenomena; ultimately from the buddhist perspective, nothing exists independently. A common example of this teaching is a tree, a tree only exists because of the sun, the soil, water, and so many other factors. One simple example of the interconnectedness of everyone and everything. The next buddhist philosophy realated to the law of divine oneness is emptiness. This philosophy suggests that things, people, and places lack inherent existence, we all only exist in relation to others. Some could make an argument that this more so supports the law of relativity, but having the ability to exist in relation to others, is another great way to see how we are all connected and we are all apart of ONE source. Finally we have the practice of universal compassion. In buddhism people are encouraged to see all BEINGS as connected. This serves as a reason to foster compassion and mindfulness with those we are in the presence of and interact with. By being compassionate and mindful to others, in essence we are extending that compassion to ourselves.

Moving on to the quantum physics side of things–but first, a fun fact, I refused to take physics in high school and as an adult, I do not know if I endorse that decision, physics is fascinating. That said, I doubt I would have wanted to learn physics the way the school was teaching it, so maybe it all worked out. Maybe I was meant to self study physics. And with that lets talk about physics. Quantum physics suggests that everything is made of energy and that the energy is interconnected. We will use three concepts (quantum entanglement, the observer effect, and unified field theory) as further evidence supporting the validity of the law of divine oneness. In the first episode of this series, we touched on quantum entanglement. This can best be summed up as a physical representation of connectedness between two things regardless of distance. Knowing quantum entanglement exists we can trust in the fact that we are truly connected one way or another. Through another lens, we can look at the observer effect, which describes and proves that the act of observation affects the outcome. We can look at this in many ways, for the sake of simplicity, I will use parenting as an example as I believe it's most relatable. The observer effect demonstrates that we behave differently when we know we are being watched, ergo the observer influences the situation simply by being present and observing. There is a part of us that does not want to let our parents down, or do something we know they would disapprove of, and therefore as children we change our behavior. The observer effect can be applied to productivity and employees, to sports and fans, to habits and commitments, and the list goes on. We have the ability to change the outcomes by giving those events our attention and energy. Last in the quantum physics sphere is unified field theory, which emphasizes that all forces and particles are interconnected, some interpretations of this law suggest that consciousness plays a role in how the universe operates. It is said that Albert Einstein sought to bring these fundamental forces into a single mathematical model. I do not believe it was a coincidence that he was aiming to unify these forces into ONE. According to the book I am reading, Power VS Force, Einstein was vibrating at the highest frequencies recorded in human history.

Last and certainly not least is the Hindu perspective. Hindu philosophy has a central concept, Brahman, which represents that the universe is ultimate, infinite, and unchanging. According to hinduism, every individual is a manifestation of Brahman. The belief of Brahman emphasizes the unity of us even in the face of apparent diversity. As we think of divine oneness through the Brahman perspective, we can see that not only are we all connected through the infinite universe, but we are all connected through Brahman. There is another concept, and out of respect for hindu culture and language, I am going to bypass the name and move straight into the definition so as to not butcher the pronunciation. The core of this belief is that the perception of separateness is due to ignorance; there is no distinction between the self and the universe. This concept, as I interpret it, points to the principle of universal source, in that we are all created from one divine source. Finally there are the concepts of Karma and Dharma which underline and directly point to the ripple effect. Actions (karma) have a ripple effect through time and space, and Dharma, the cosmic order, connects individuals to the greater good. Karma and Dharma can easily be tied to the principle of interconnection as well as the more obvious principle, the ripple effect.

Regardless of what you find most interesting or which viewpoint aligns most closely with yours, I am hoping that you can see that even with vastly different perspectives, buddhists, physists, and hindus have a shared understanding of and belief in the interconnectedness of everyone and everything. So much so that each of these groups have developed their own key concepts, philosophies, and principles that support the law of divine oneness.

So what can we, take away from the Law of Divine Oneness? There are four key lessons I think we can all collectively use as we navigate through the world to help us feel more connected, more loved, and powerful.

First, you are not alone. I cannot tell you how many times I have opened up to someone and found that they too had a similar experience, or knew someone who shared the same struggle as I was going through. Even if they didn’t share the same experience or know someone who did, they offered compassion and support in times I needed it more than ever. If you are struggling, the worst thing you can do is close yourself off to the collective, to the universal web of energy and existence that is designed to support you. You are not alone. We are in this together.

Second, separation is an illusion. Society has really run away with this one, and it is the responsibility of each of us to reclaim our collective power. Anytime you catch yourself seeing yourself as “different from” know that is evil at its finest. If you see yourself as different from, separate from, it is a trap. Look at what Hitler did to Germany, and later Europe, convincing everyone that they were “different from” the Jews they were doing atrocious things to, they were literally trying to exterminate the Jews because they were made out to be different. They were not. We are not. Divisions are an illusion. Avoid “us” versus “them” mentality at all costs; remember that you are connected to all beings and we need to extend kindness and compassion to all of those we are surrounded by and come in contact with.

Third, small actions matter. Even seemingly insignificant choices contribute to the greater good. By improving your energy and your vibration, you improve the worlds vibration. One example we covered earlier in episode 35 - “Why you should join the collective and be a force for good” hit on this exactly. I was amazed at how many people were honored, and awarded, and remembered for saving only a small number of people. It was a paradigm shift for me, underlining the reality that small actions do matter. Many people doing small acts of good, creates exponential good for all. And that's what this lesson is about. If each day we all went out into the world with this idea in mind, “what small action can I take today, to make the world a better place” the world would be a better place.

Fourth, healing the self heals the whole. The idea here, is that when YOU grow, or forgive or raise your frequency, if positively impacts the universal field. I can say in my experience over the last two years, this is absolutely true. I have seen this in the positive impacts I can have on others, because I myself am in a positive place. My positive (and negative) energy is contagious. We cannot pour from an empty cup; if we want to help others we must first help ourselves.

You guys, I hope you enjoyed this episode featuring the interwoven roots of the law of divine oneness and that you can find ways yourself to draw upon and use these lessons in your own life.

I will look forward to next week where we will cover the challenges of the law and how we can use this law to collectively raise our vibration in pour positivity into the world.

Thank you so much for spending this time with me–I hope this episode and this show continues to give you new things to think about that ultimately help improve your life. Thank you so much for your support of the show!

Until next time…. Byeeeeee
