It's 2025 and we are on the metaphysical magic carpet ride: diving deep into each of the twelve laws of the metaphysical universe each month–this month focusing on the law of vibration.

Before we get into the thick of it, I will kick it off with a quick personal update.
Personal Update:
Valentine’s day weekend was far from what I hoped it would be, BUT there were a lot of good moments. Namely, I made my first pizzas from scratch and they turned out to be INCREDIBLE– I was honestly blown away. I made a bunch of other really delicious stuff too–some white chocolate pretzel bark, some southwestern soup and salad, and of course some juices. All absolutely phenomenal.
I also decided that I am going to give day-trading a go; it's always been one of those things in the back of my mind that I thought I would like to try. So i am trying it. I am excited about this new passion and endeavor. I am sure this will not be my last trading update. Stay tuned.
With that, let's move onto the law of attraction.
The Law of Vibration: Applications and Challenges
In the last two episodes, we covered that the law of vibration exists to explain that everything is in motion (vibrating), despite how it appears, and that everything, living or not, has its own frequency. We explored the scales developed to measure our frequencies and easy to implement methods to raise our vibration. Remember, the law of vibration, is fundamental to the other laws of the universe, and mastering your vibration is paramount to successfully using the law of attraction (which we will cover in March).
In today's episode, my goal is to evaluate the different applications and challenges of the law of vibration. Ironically, as I am preparing this episode, I have to laugh a little–the things we are covering today, could easily be a prescription for what I need to do in my life right now.
So – Let’s get into it! Last episode we talked about 7 simple things we could do to raise our vibration (doing affirmations, noting our daily wins, practicing gratitude, choosing our consumables wisely, connecting with nature, exercising and meditating). These were more tactical actions we can cherry pick and do almost immediately. Today we are going to go a level deeper, and focus more on our ability to tune into our vibration. These four key strategies can be more or less grouped into two subcategories. This first category is more about managing and manipulating our energy for our highest good. This includes processing and moving through low vibrational states as well as elevating into higher, more pure frequencies. The second category is more about stabilizing and fine tuning our energy. We will talk about what we can do to protect our energy once we have elevated our state, and what we can do to specifically align our energy with our desires.
So how do we consistently raise our vibration, or normalize a new higher state of being compared to where we are now? And if we should slip into a lower state, how can we quickly recover to our new, higher baseline? I recently read the book Human Design, and 10/10 this was a game changer for me. I say this because, I believe knowing your human design is critical in guiding you or helping you evaluate HOW to raise your vibration. I am a Generator; my gift can best be given to the world by doing things that LIGHT ME UP. This podcast lights me up, when I get into something new (real estate, froyo for dogs, insurance) whatever it is, I can become incredibly focused and energized by it–these things light me up and allow me to share my energy with the world in a very positive way. By doing what lights me up, I am naturally raising my vibrational energy and positioning myself to align with different opportunities and people. If you are unsure what “lights you up” or raises your vibration, I recommend reading the Human Design book by Jenna Zoe (I read only what was relevant to me because I felt like thats how I got the most out of the book). If that doesn’t interest you, I suggest you tune in very carefully over the course of a week or a month to how different activities, thoughts, people, and places make you feel; if you really wanted to get after it, you could do the 30 day challenge like I did in September. For 30 days, you record 3 simple things (I did this on a note on my phone), 1- What energized me (or what made me enthusiastic)? 2- What drained me (or what did I dread)? 3- What did I learn about myself? The third question doesn’t exactly tie in here, but I think it is still a very valid and useful question to ask yourself regularly. Now- lets say you shifted your vibration to a higher baseline, because you did the 30 day challenge, you know what lights you up, your flying high. You’ve raised your vibration; you are absolutely GLOWING. Then life happens, and you get angry or you are sad or something happens and your state is brought down a bit; we may call this a funk, or depression, or a rut or whatever. One thing I have learned, is that the more you resist and try to bury and ignore the feelings your feeling, the worse they get. The key to raising your vibration back to the baseline, is acknowledging these feelings, creating space and time to fully feel these feelings, even naming them is very helpful, and with that you can then MOVE THROUGH your feelings and bounce back to your new normal, versus getting stuck there.
So- To raise our vibration, we must know what tips the scales in the positive and negative directions. To get our vibration on track, we have to feel the feelings that we are avoiding, so we can move through them vs get stuck with them. NOW how do we protect our energy from being affected by the outside world and how do we align our energy with our desires? Protecting our energy is arguably as important as raising it. Whether we like to admit it or not, people, media of all kinds, environments, substances, etc can all drain our energy. In order to protect ourselves we need to take meaningful action to reduce whatever exposure to negativity we can–we need to limit time with people who are a drain; we need to stop watching the news or topics that upset us, or put us in a fearful state; if there is content, or influencers, or friends or family that leave you feeling like you are not enough, or that you are lacking something in some way, you need to create as much distance as you can from those things or people. Once you have created a physical barrier or as much distance as possible, you can create a mental shield or develop a mantra you can focus on when distance is not possible. These actions are simple, but difficult; it can be incredibly hard to realize that while you may love people or have been very close with them for some period of your life, your relationship may have run its course, or changed shape, and more distance is required in order for you to progress and grow. Same can be true about habits or activities, maybe there is a habit you formed that you now need to let go of, it can be hard because in a way you are letting go of this part of you. But if you do not first let go, you cannot create room for your new highest good. This we learned in episode #38–Unlocking Prosperity: 3 Keys to Health, Wealth, and Happiness. In order to receive, we must first let go of what is no longer for us or serving us. You will need to let go of the life you have to live the one you want; you will need to visualize yourself already living that life, feeling the emotions you will feel, thinking the thoughts you will think, doing the things you will do. In other words, use the “Do-Be-Get” concept to attract and align with your desires. Do the things that align with who you want to become, Become the type of person who naturally attracts success, Get the results of the person who has done the things and became the person worthy of receiving them. Do-Be-Get.
As someone who has done these things, and worked tirelessly to change my life in the last 3 years, I know how difficult it can be to change. First, transformation is not linear. You will backslide. It will feel as though you are not making progress even though you are–as Alex Hormozi says, if you don’t quit, you can’t lose. When embarking on a mission to improve your life and raise your vibration, you’re going to face challenges. Likely some form of the three we will cover today. My goal is to share how I was able to (or am currently working to) overcome these challenges; my hope is that my sharing these stories and ideas, will help you find your path, through, or around these challenges.
The first major challenge you will face when trying to raise your vibration, will be undoing or breaking the negative patterns in your life. Don’t waste your time or energy blaming anyone for these negative patterns, including yourself; you need to pour all of your energy into the solution. Two key mantras or bits of inspiration with this challenge that you may find helpful come from two amazing humans, and incredible business people; they have been where we were, or worse. Candy Valentino grew up in a trailer park having to fight for everything she has, overcoming seemingly insurmountable disadvantages and Ed Mylett, was the son of an alcoholic, who faced no shortage of adversity throughout his life, including having the lights and water turned off in his home for weeks. A quote I heard from Candy on Ed’s show was, “I am not a product of my circumstances, I am a product of my decisions” – Now, this may not feel or land as inspirational when you first hear that, BUT the more you let it stew, you will hopefully see it as a source of empowerment, because that means YOU have the control to change your life. You do not need to let your circumstances or your past decisions or behaviors control you any more; you can step into your power and control your decisions. Going back to the “Do-Be-Get” gameplan, you can choose or decide, to Do the things that align with who you want to become, Become the type of person who naturally attracts success, and Get the results you desire. But you have to take ownership of your life and face these patterns head on. This applies to all arenas in life: love, fitness, money, parenting, career, your appearance, etc. You are in control of your life. Take ownership and level up. The second is from Ed Mylett. He always says, acknowledge the problem, but don’t spend much time on it, sure acknowledge it, BUT then, decide on a solution, and take MASSIVE ACTION towards the solution. So, you can use this to acknowledge your past patterns keeping you down, reflect on the solution, and then take MASSIVE action towards the solution.
Now, what do these two suggestions require? Consistency. You can't Do-Be-Get for one day, one week, one month, and expect your life to change drastically. It will change, but it will take time to acclimate to your new standard of being and living. This happens when you put the reps in. When you build the consistency. When you are the type of person who does what they say they are going to do; when you become the type of person who keeps the promises they make to themselves. Overtime, consistency compounds. James Clear says, “you do not rise to the the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.” We need to develop systems that make success inevitable, and ideally as easy as possible. We need to put ourselves in a position, or an environment, where our thoughts, behaviors, and actions are aligned with the outcomes we desire and are consistent. If we notice we are off track, we need to reset and get back on track. Our environment is the last challenge we need to overcome when raising our vibration. I would argue one of the most important. Your environment is your physical space, your town and climate and culture, but also your social circles and your workplace. Your environment is a powerful force that can either propel you forward with a tailwind, or drag you down. Your environment can act like a weighted vest. Sure you may still be able to walk two miles, but what if you weren’t wearing that 50lb vest. I’d bet you’d enjoy your walk more, you would nearly “breeze” through it. The point is not whether or not you can succeed in your environment, the question really is, is your environment creating a tail wind or is it more of a 50 lb vest? For example, I said to someone this past weekend, during summer, I never missed a morning walk, I enjoyed getting up early to go on my morning walk, come fall and winter, even with the best gear, I miss so many walks–the chips are stacked against me, there are a lot of points of friction. My walks are more about my mental health and mindset than exercise, but my body is also negatively impacted when I am not able to go on the walks. So this would be an example of something I should try to correct. Of course this means I need to consider moving to a completely different climate. This would drastically change up my environment.
These challenges are all apart of the human experience. The choice is yours. You are in control. Do you want to to break free from the toxic patterns holding you back, or do you want to remain a victim. Are you willing to put the reps in. Are you willing to consistently show up for yourself. Are you committed to creating systems that enable you to succeed, even in the toughest conditions? Will you continue to wear the 50 lb weighted vest, or will you be be brave and find your tailwind? The choice is yours. We have one life. What a shame it would be to waste it playing small. If you are busy living the life someone else dreamt for you, you are wasting yours. Don’t waste this precious lifetime. Raise your vibration and be the best version you can be.
