Hello Everyone! Welcome to The Game of Life Podcast; I am Alexandria Burek and I am your host.

Thank you for picking my show out of the millions to choose from; I am honored and excited to share this time with you! If you’re new here, welcome aboard, and if you’re a regular, thanks for coming back—I appreciate you all so much.

Today, we’re diving into something a little mystical yet totally practical: the Law of Correspondence. You might’ve heard 'As within, so without'—it’s this universal principle that says your outer world mirrors your inner state. I started connecting the dots to this while revisiting past episodes and learnings, and it’s like a thread running through everything we’ve explored together. In this episode, expect a deep dive into the law of correspondence where we will explore how our thoughts and feelings shape our reality and what we can do to use it to our advantage. NOW Let’s get into it!

Personal Update:

Before we dive in, let’s catch up with a quick personal update:

Wins:

First, I completed the Landmark Forum and have opened my eyes to not only a new way of being, but a never ending plane of opportunities and boundless freedom—it’s like I’ve unlocked a new level of the world I did not know existed.

Second, my dogs and I have finally figured out how to walk in a way that is ENJOYABLE—loose leashes, at ease—I can now enjoyyyyyy walking my dogs, and that’s a win I didn’t see coming, but it feels so good.

Third, I finally landed an opportunity I’ve been pursuing for the last year, like officially officially—my future has been brought to current, and I’m buzzing about it.

Gratitude: I’m so thankful for the clarity I’ve been finding lately. Reflecting on how much my mindset has shifted, getting so much better at meditation and it’s ALL showing up in my life—less chaos, more flow. I’m grateful for that.

Original Thought: This one literally came to me the other morning–I love the mornings where before I even open my eyes, I get these little downloads. The original thought of the day is, “If dissatisfaction comes from not liking the way it is, change it.” Sounds oversimplified, but it's true.

Feature song of the week. This week's song is Toxic by Frenchgrl– I recently discovered this artist / group. They just take classics, like Brittany Spear’s Toxic and give them a refresh. So good. Plus her voice is like an angel.

Food For Thought: The law of correspondence:

Alright, let’s get into the heart of today’s episode: the Law of Correspondence. I’ve been digging into this lately, and it’s really wild how it ties into everything we’ve been unpacking on the show this year. So, what’s it about? At its core, this law—straight from the Seven Hermetic Principles—says, 'As above, so below; as within, so without.' Your inner world—thoughts, emotions, beliefs—is a mirror for your outer reality–does this sound familiar? Makes me think about T Harv Ekers concept from episode 68: if you want to change the visible, you must first change the invisible.

The law of correspondence can be broken down into five key ideas:

First, everything mirrors across planes—mental chaos inside equals a messy life. If you have a bunch of things running through your mind, your mind is cluttered. This will likely leave you starting projects, not completing them, and bouncing all over the place. That will be obvious in your external world.

Second, it’s all connected, we are all connected. Our beliefs translate into words and actions that create the life we are living.

Third, the cause is within you—your outer struggles start in your head. As I learned in the landmark forum this weekend, we get to choose the meaning of things; if we think that something is BAD, it IS. If we think life will be hard, it will be. Conversely if we believe that life will be fun, it will be. We are constantly creating our lives.

Fourth, patterns scale up—a pattern in your personal mindset (how you organize your thoughts) might scale up to reflect how you structure your life, which could then scale up further. The pattern doesn’t change fundamentally—it just gets bigger and more intricate.

And fifth, it’s dynamic—shift your inner state, and the outer follows. My good friend explained this as I was learning more about manifesting and transformation. She reaffirmed for me, the change is ALWAYS invisible before it's tangible.

So, how do we make this real in our lives? Here’s how I’m playing with it, and you can too.

Start by auditing your inner world—your mind is the 'inner plane'—it’s where everything starts. After finishing the Landmark Forum this week, I discovered how shifting my mind has opened up the freedom I have and the world of opportunities I am living in. I am tuned into it now. I learned that I give my life meaning. It’s up to me to decide how I want to be in the world. I am conscious now. So, what is your life saying about your mind right now? What occupies your mind’s real estate? Are you visualizing what you want or what you don’t want? In terms of visualizing, I am really keying in on finding a better climate and environment that is more conducive to the life I want for myself and my dogs. Rather than letting what I don’t want occupy my mind, I am focused on what I do want. There is a key difference there. So what do you want? Can you see it in your mind? Bob Proctor says, if you can see it in your mind you can hold it in your hand.

Check your reflection: What beliefs do you have? Are they yours, or someone else’s? If you have not taken the time to evaluate the systems you are operating on, chances are you are just operating on the systems of the people that raised you and influenced you throughout your life. How can you live a whole and complete life, an authentic life, if you do not even know (or agree) with the systems you are operating on? How can you live a life that is true to you, if you are living according to someone else's script? Speaking of which, if you are trying to make a change, try scripting. Take five minutes to think about, and write down, what you would be doing if you were living life authentically, and happily. Watch it transform you. Watch your life become what you scripted it to be.

Be mindful of your words, SO MINDFUL. The law of correspondence can be used to rewrite old beliefs (as above, so below)--instead of saying 'I’m stuck' say 'I’m growing.’ Rewrite your story and your life using the law of correspondence; change the outer by rewriting the inner. Just like we did in episode 55 and we chose 8-10 words we want to use to describe 2025 when we look back, we can apply the same idea to our lives as a whole. How do you want to describe your life when its all said and done.

Then we can take a page out of Napoleon Hill’s playbook, like we covered in Episode 50: and Act ‘as if’—once we have a clear picture in our minds of how we want our lives to be, we can begin to Act As If it already is. If we want to accelerate this, we will do things that help us get aligned. And I mean that in the energetic sense– we want to be energetically aligned with what we desire so it can QUICKLY come to us.

To get energetically aligned we need to feel the frequency—do something joyful daily, make time to try new things. Once you get in the zone, things will magically happen for you.

The truth though—is it’s not always easy. Looking at your inner mess can be hard—it can be confronting to take a look at what is going on in your mind. I felt that as I was “questioning my programming” and I had to acknowledge that resentment that came up… but just like anything, once you do it and confront it you will be so much better off.

My last bit of advice for you before we get into three great takeaways is to 'Meditate on who you need to be.' Then go act as if you already are.
